April

The corona virus is continuing to spread.  There are lines to get in stores and very long lines at the grocery stores.  Toilet paper is completely sold out everywhere.

We are spending our time laying in pools and being with our dogs.  Everything is shut down.

A friend of mine in Arlington sent this sweet picture to me of my parents and Jason.  The gym is closed so they are walking around the soccer fields.

March

We started spring break, and little did we know we would not be going back to school until September.  The corona virus shut down the entire world and even closed schools.

Just as the whole country was shutting down, we got word that Nana was sick and going to the hospital.  We were afraid she had corona but it turns out it was pneumonia.  She passed away about 3 days after going to the hospital. We know she is with her Heavenly Father, but we already miss her so much.

We were not able to have a funeral for her due to the shutdowns so we had a graveside service where only 10 people were allowed to attend.

After almost a month in quarantine, we had to get out of the house so we went fishing.

We also took the dogs for walks as a way to get out of the house.

Easter was definitely different as well this year.  Our church along with others was closed on Easter Sunday.  We watched the service online and decorated Easter cookies.

Jason and the boys needed to get out of the house too so they went with Papa and played some frisbee golf.

The dogs have loved having us home every day!

 January 2020

This year has easily been the craziest year of our lives.  It started with the Corona virus hitting the world.  My blog this year does not actually start until March which is exactly when the virus hit the United States.
