July 2016

July brought us Kevin's birthday so we celebrated at Pericos!

Carol and I took the kids to the lake in Lakeland and spent the day.  We had so much fun fishing, doing the paddle board, and just having fun.

We also enjoyed our pool!  So much fun!

We took a family trip to the beach at Gulf Shores.

Poor Kevin always got stuck with the beach chairs and floats!

Elia texting on the beach.

Taking selfies back at the condo!

We went to Lulu's one afternoon.  Fun place!

We discovered Pokemon Go on this trip.

Ava bought a cool virtual reality toy when we went shopping.

We spent a fun night at The Track!

And back to the beach!  Ava loves the ocean!

We ran into friends while we were there and decided to spend the day with them.

I thought I could go without sunscreen.  HA!

Our condo had a 9 hole course so Kevin took Ava to play a round of golf.

The girls and I rode the banana boat on our last day!

It is always good to include our monthly Miley pictures!

Our sweet friend, Kathy, was diagnosed with lung cancer last month.  The town of Arlington threw together a fundraiser for her.  It was incredible event!

July also brought my parent's 50th wedding anniversary!  They are such a good example of a Godly marriage.

More Miley pictures!  Sweet dog!

While we did make some good memories in July, this month proved to be the most difficult month of our lives.  On July 4, 2016, we lost our dear sweet friend Michael.  Our lives will never be the same, and he has touched so many lives just since his passing.  Until we see you again Michael....... we love you!

June 2016

The month of June started with a major flood in Arlington.  Our garage got a couple of inches of water, but thankfully it never came in our house.

The month of June also took us to state competition in Murfreesboro.  It was an interesting day for sure.  We had a 4 hour delay due to torrential rain.

Then they decided to cancel all games and go to penalty kicks to determine the winner of STATE!  We ended up losing but it was a terrible way to lose a state competition.  They might as well have flipped a coin to determine the winner.

We tried to make the most of it since we were already there and had already paid for our hotel for the weekend.  The girls ended up having a good time that night.

Of course, I always have to include a picture of our fur baby!

The Arlington 4th of July celebration took place at the end of June.  It was a lot of fun and a great fireworks show!

We had our annual mommy conference the last weekend in June.  It was a ton of fun!

I also spent the first half of the summer fixing up our back patio.  I found these cute fish on the resale site.  Love them!
