April brought warmer weather and more soccer!

Have we mentioned how much we love this dog?  She is truly part of our family!

She even likes to sit at the table with us when we eat dinner on the patio.

It's hard to believe Ava's last year in elementary school is winding down.  This was her school picture from this year.

April was a very busy soccer month.  We had lots of games and tournaments.

We traveled to Kentucky for a tournament for Elia's team.

Ava always manages to find the kettle corn.

Ava made some kind of virtual box with her phone and a shoe box.  Pretty cool really!

We opened the pool this month.  So excited to be in this pool every day this summer!

Bring on summer time!!!!

March 2016

March was super busy because spring soccer was in full gear.  Lot of games, practices, and tournaments.

With summer just around the corner, we had to get our toes pretty for flip flops.

We took a day trip to Nashville to see the USA women's soccer team.  It was so much fun!

USA won by 1 goal scored in the last minute of the game by Alex Morgan!  So exciting!

Even though it was March, some of the soccer games were freezing cold!

Over spring break the girls bought these miniature food mixes where you mix powders with water.  One included a hamburger, fries, and a drink.  It was pretty nasty!

Elia bought a miniature soda machine.  She mixed different powders to make different flavors of soda.

We were not sure why this "gel" was her soda mixture.  It was just as nasty as the hamburger. 

Carol and I took the kids to Casey Jones for lunch and the Safari Park.  It was so much fun!

We also decorated Easter eggs.  So much fun!

Even though the girls are teenagers, the Easter bunny still comes to see them!

The girls looked so pretty and grown up on Easter morning.

After church, we met Carol and her kids at Pericos for lunch.

After Easter, we had more soccer games. 

Elia's team got to play in the big stadium at Mike Rose!  They won the game!
