May 2017

May was a very busy month.  It started with our fundraiser at church for Guatemala.  We were able to raise over $4,000 for the projects planned this summer.

Elia played more soccer so they could go to state.

Ava found this snake skin on our back fence.  We knew this meant there had to be a very large snake slithering around our house.

I love my mother's day gift!

Hot weather means pool time!

And we found the snake in our garage!  Not a good day!

Elia had 8th grade formal!

We also had Elia's 8th grade graduation complete with a wardrobe malfunction.

Ava had her 6th grade awards program.
We are so proud!

Our school had a butterfly release in honor of sweet Kathy.

And the last day of school finally came!  Bring on summer!

It was time for state!

The girls played awesome but fell short of 1st place.  They should be so proud of their 2nd place accomplishment.
