We started off the month getting me my dream car-a Jeep Wrangler! I LOVE IT!
Then we went to see Nana in the hospital. She fell and broke her hip and had to have surgery. I caught this sweet picture of Ava with her Papa walking down the hall of the hospital.
The next day it was time for inservice. Carol and I rode in the Jeep to school.
That afternoon I took the kids for a ride in the Jeep. Ava loves it!
Ava and Cami posed for some pictures.
Miley posed for some as well.
The weekend before school started we took the doors off the Jeep. So fun!
I took Ava for a manicure and pedicure.
Then it time for the first day of school. Ava started 4th grade this year.
Elia started middle school! YIKES!
I took pictures of Ava with her teachers, but this was the first year I was not able to take pictures of Elia with her teachers.
Soccer also started back in full force. I was so proud of some of the girls when they had to run a mile. The girls who finished ahead of the others went back to cheer on the rest of the team!
By the time the weekend came after the first week of school, Ava was worn out.
Our church had a fun get together at the Grove complete with baptisms in the lake.
Ava's cheer is also in full force keeping us busier than ever.
On our way to school one morning, we saw this beautiful sunrise. It was a great way to start a Monday morning.
Poor Qua had to get a cast on her leg the second week of school. Only Qua would take full advantage of it by blinging it all up.
The next Friday night we went to the football jamboree in Arlington.
We got to see MC cheer which is crazy to think she is now a senior in high school! It feels like Mandy and I were just cheering in high school together.
That Saturday night we went to Music on the Square which is always fun.
The kids got in some pool time that weekend. We were so glad Cami was able to get a water proof cast.
Arlington Elementary took part in the ALS ice bucket challenge where we raised over $1,000 for ALS!
Miley got a much needed bath.
Then took a much needed nap after her bath.
The temps have reached 100 degrees so the only thing left to do is get in the pool. Honestly, it is almost too hot to even swim.
Kevin and I managed to get in a date night.
Now that we are in the swing of things with school, soccer, and cheer we are finally getting back into a routine. A very busy routine!
