Round one of Christmas started Friday night with the extended family coming to our house.
The kids played a fun game with dice, oven mitts, and a present wrapped several times.
Hannah got to the prize inside! Luckily, everyone was a winner and they all won Reese's trees!
Then the adults played games that my cousin, Beth, and I planned.
Last we played a game with white elephant gifts. It was too much fun! There is always a lot of screaming, laughing, and fun when our family gets together.
Here is a random picture of Ava in a new outfit!
Round 2 of Christmas took place at my mom's with my family, my brother's family, and my parents. We started off with breakfast and there was enough food to feed an army! It was all so good!
Then Grammy and Papa got each family a new book. Papa always reads the bible story out of the bible every year. However, this book was one of those where you can record your voice reading the story, and it just so happened to be the Christmas story from the bible. My mom and dad took turns recording their voice reading the story. What an incredible gift that the girls will treasure for the rest of their lives!
Then it was present time, and boy, where there presents! I think Grammy and Papa spoil their grandkids!
Round 3 of Christmas involved Santa. He showed up on schedule on Christmas Eve, and he did not disappoint.
The girls went straight to their Kindle Fires, and did not see much else Santa brought for several minutes.
They they emptied their stockings and Miley's stocking.
After the girls saw what Santa brought, they wanted to dive into the presents from us so Elia played Santa and passed them out.
Miley got to open her presents first.
Then the girls wanted to open a certain present they have had their eye on every since it appeared under the tree. Thank goodness it was what they wanted, an Xbox Kinect!
Then it was time to open the rest of the presents!
I think it is safe to say the girls had a great Christmas!!! (and we still have Round 4 tonight with Kevin's side of the family!)
