Summer Week 3

Once again, we are making the most out of every day of our summer.

Monday- Jerry's Snowcones and picnic at Shelby Farms

The weather was a tiny bit cooler this day so we decided to load the kids up and take them to the park.  First, we made a stop at Jerry's snowcones to beat the long lines.  (Have I mentioned Elia does not like to have her picture taken?)

Then we headed to Shelby Farms.  The kids actually had the most fun playing in the water and sand in the kiddie section.  HA!

After playing, we found a picnic table and ate lunch.

Kevin went to check on his bees and made a fun discovery!  His bees had made a tiny bit of honey!  This is the honeycomb with the honey.

Tuesday- Germantown Pool

The weather was heating up quickly so we met Mandy and Aubrey at the pool.  Ava seems to think she is some kind of "pool diva".

Of course, I think Ava must get it from her momma!

After having fun at the pool, we went to Menchies to cool off.

Wednesday- Mommy Day and Smores

Kevin took the girls bowling and that gave me some time all to myself.  I went to the mall and enjoyed every second of time alone.  Later that night we decided to use the fire pit and make Smore's so all the kids came over.

Carol had some really cool glowing balloons.  The kids had a ball playing with them and so did we.

Thursday- Pool Time and Gardening

We picked up Megan Smith and took her along with us to the pool.

On our way home, we stopped by Abbay's and bought these sacred mugs for $4.99.  All summer you can get FREE refills of tea using your mug!  We plan to stop there every day on the way to the pool and on the way home from the pool!  Love us some free tea!

When we got home from the pool, the kids helped Kevin plant some flowers in the flower bed.

Friday- Lunch at Abbay's and Haircuts

I didn't get any pictures this day, but did eat lunch at Abbay's so we could get some more free tea.  Then we took the girls to get their hair trimmed.

Saturday- Pool Time

Ava loves to swim at Michelle's because she is obsessed with her dog, Lily.

Elia loves going over there because she loves to jump off the diving board.

We love having Jason over there because he plays with all the kids.  

They like to climb on his shoulders.  Then he throws them in the air.
