My Two GuatTots: Summer-Week 3

This week started off as a very wet week. We didn't think it would ever stop raining so we had to be creative with ways to stay entertained.

Ava, Jake, and Austin had golf camp this week so Monday was their first day. They LOVED it!

The clouds were looking thick Monday afternoon so we took the kids to the Civil Rights Museum. It's free admission from 3-5 every Monday!

I love how the people in the Civil Rights Museum are gray. Black + white = gray

Too bad we can't get a place like this at home for these two! HA!

Elia and I were making fun of Jason. He is one of those who stops and reads everything in the museum. We finished about half an hour before he and the boys finished.

Poor Ava had a terrible cold and ear infection this week. It seems like my girls can't catch a break this sumer with being sick.

Golf camp was cancelled Tuesday due to all the rain. Ashley spent the night with Elia Tuesday night. Ava and the boys had golf camp again on Wednesday.

After golf camp, Carol and I took the kids to Stevie B's for lunch and games.

Then we made the first of many summer trips to Jerry's Snowcones.

Thursday was the last day of golf camp. The kids got a goodie bag and a certificate.

By the end of the week, poor Ava was feeling exhausted. She had a terrible cold and had to wake up early every morning. Hard work in the summer time! Apparently, Kevin was exhausted too. He is not used to having to work during the summer.

Then there is Miley of course, who is always exhausted.

On Friday, we were finally able to get in the pool and work on our tan!

The girls had fun swimming!

Ava got some new boots so the girls also had fun posing for pictures!

Friday night was a rare date night for Kevin and me. We ate dinner at Olive Garden. Then we to Target to get some Shop Kicks. Then we went to Jerry's Snowcones. It was a fun night!!!
