Ava went with Abigail to Bellevue's fireworks Sunday night.
Carol took Dalton, Ava, and Cami fishing Monday. Elia was still sleeping so we let her stay home and get her "beauty sleep".
After fishing the kids came home and swam a little.
We all slept in on Tuesday. Then Carol and I took the kids to Putt-Putt. We stayed there for over 4 hours. The kids had fun!
Actually, Ava was a little more than ticked off that she had to ride the "baby go-carts" because she was 1 inch too short. I did feel bad for her because her knees were up to her ears.
The kids had fun on the bumper boats!
And the Spin Zone!
And the ropes course! (Ava and Cami were the brave ones. Dalton and Elia didn't want any part of this.)
And of course, they played video games and a round or two of putt-putt.
We decided to chill out and rest on Wednesday. I painted Ava's nails.
Later that night, the kids were playing outside when Cami fell while she was rollerblading. We had plans to go to the water park on Thursday so we just kept telling her she was ok. Little did we know, the poor kid broke her wrist pretty bad. Now she is in a cast for the rest of the summer! Poor Cam!!!!
Thursday night we took the kids to the mall!
Nothing like cheap entertainment in the massage chairs!
Then I had the crazy idea to get my ears pierced a 2nd time. I was a big baby. I made Cami (who just had her bone set back in place) hold my hand.
Kevin was off work on Friday so I put him to work. HA! We are in the process of moving Elia's room upstairs into the playroom. Kevin is taking out the shelves he built years ago. It was kind of sad to see the shelves coming down that held toys for so many years.
On their way home from Lowe's, Kevin and Ava stopped and bought a few fireworks to shoot off in the cove.
On Saturday we had the family over for a cookout for Kevin's birthday.
Somehow, we all managed to get locked out of the house. Thank goodness we have a doggie door. Ava is still able to fit so she crawled through and let us in. HA!
Only 3 more weeks of summer fun for the teachers! :(
