Summer-Week 7

This week was a little slower than all the rest this summer.  We still had a fun week!

We started with Kevin being off work Monday.  We managed to finish Elia's bedroom.  We decided to move her upstairs so the girls will each have their own bathroom, and Elia will have a bigger bedroom.  We ended up making good use of the bookshelves Kevin took down in the playroom.  We used the small piece to house shoes in the garage.

Then we sanded and painted and cut off a section of one side to make a nice bookshelf for Elia's room.

I may end up using the other side for my classroom.  Elia's bedroom turned out so cute and she has tons of space now!

We turned her old bedroom into a fun TV room for the girls and their friends.  We kept the paint color the same to keep it fun.  We just need to finish it off with some things on the wall.

It was nice to have Kevin off to run errands and eat lunch with us Monday.

On Monday night, Sean took the girls for a ride on the Polaris while we all sat in the cove.

On Tuesday, Elia slept in of course.  Ava played with her American Girl dolls.  I cherish innocent moments like these because I know they won't last forever!

Tuesday afternoon we went to see Earth to Echo with Jason and the boys.

On Wednesday Carol and I got our nails done, and I found these cute monogram stickers from Etsy!

Then we met Qua and Rachel at the movies to see Tammy.  Very funny movie!!!

On Thursday I stayed in the pool nearly the entire day.  I even dozed off a couple of times.  It was so nice!  We went to Cracker Barrel on Thursday night.

On Friday, Qua and Caleb came over.  The kids had fun!

The moms even got some time in the pool.

Friday night was a great night for S'mores!

Saturday was busy with a family birthday party and a wedding.  I managed to only get one picture that day which was a selfie of Ava and me.

Sunday was another pool day!  We are definitely trying to soak it up while we can!!!!
